Corinth was one of the great cities of the Roman Empire. The city was noted for its wealth, luxury, and immorality. Paul visited Corinth for the first time on his second missionary journey. He became acquainted with a couple named Aquila and Priscilla, and during his stay at Corinth.
Paul describes many characteristics of the end of the age. There will be a love of money, arrogance, blasphemy, and disobedience to parents. Intemperance will be common. Conditions will become progressively worse as the church age draws to its close. The days will be perilous!
